Tailmark was born from two things we care about deeply: a love of pets and a lifelong commitment to painting. We believe pets are not simply companions. They are irreplaceable members of the family. They share our everyday lives, leave lasting impressions on our hearts, and deserve to be remembered in a way that feels as personal as the bond we share. That is why we use our brushes to preserve what makes them so special.

We bring more than a decade of painting experience, with a particular focus on pet portraits and oil painting. From light and shadow to fur, color, expression, and the look in their eyes, we study every detail with care. Our goal is not simply to paint a dog or a cat, but to capture the pet who means so much to you.

Every Tailmark portrait is hand-painted by a real artist. We do not rely on printed photos or AI-generated images. Each piece carries genuine brushwork, depth, and details that cannot be reproduced. Oil paint allows us to render the texture of your pet’s fur and the warmth in their eyes with remarkable depth, while preserving the emotional connection at the heart of every portrait.

Because we love pets, we understand how much trust it takes to send us a favorite photo. Some customers want to honor a loyal companion who has been with them for years. Others want to celebrate a new member of the family or keep a gentle reminder of a beloved pet they have lost. Whatever the story, we treat every portrait with the same professionalism, patience, and care.

The process is simple:

  1. Upload a clear photo of your pet.
  2. Our artist hand-paints the portrait, usually within 3–7 days.
  3. Before shipping, we send you a photo of the finished artwork for approval.

If the likeness does not meet your expectations, we will repaint it free of charge. For us, a portrait is not finished when the last brushstroke is made. It is finished when you look at it and say, “That is my pet.”
